1967 Ford GT40 MKIV Recreation
Stunning and Accurate Recreation in Aluminum from Original Ford Drawings
Built from original Ford MoCo drawings as per the original specifications, this is a spectacular recreation of a MKIV, of which only 6 originals were made and finished 1st and 4th at Le Mans in 1967.
This car was built as per original specifications with a honeycomb aluminum monocoque. The body was created from the original molds for one of the Hollman-Moody MKIVs. The motor is a proper tunnel port 427 with 2/4bbl Holley carburetors making approximately 550 HP. The car is equipped with a MKIV T-44 transaxle, uprights and magnesium wheels. It has vintage racing history and looks and drives the part of the original. A more raw and exciting driving experience is not to be found anywhere else.
