This 1978 Super Beetle Champagne Edition Convertible is one of the lowest mileage Beetles that we have ever seen or heard of. The car has covered 6200 original miles from new. We are told the only things on the car that have been changed are the battery and the tires (due to dry rot.) The car was used from '78 until '93 as transport to and from a lake house. It was acquired by the second owner in 1993 and driven approximately 1200 miles since then. It is in excellent original condition, showing no signs of paint work. It is a uniquely well preserved example that runs and drives exceptionally well. These little bugs are a delight to drive and a refreshing change from the many sports racing cars we see here. It's a cheery, easy to drive car with a fun presence, especially in this color. Its four passenger capacity means it is a versatile, affordable and unique classic car the whole family can enjoy.
