2003 Aston Martin DB7 GT
For the 2003 model year, along with the base 6-cylinder DB7 and the V12 Vantage, Aston Martin made a very limited run of 190 DB7 GTs to be the flagship of the line. A tribute to the iconic DB4 GT of the 1960's, only 88 of the 190 produced were imported into the U.S. The 5.9 Liter 48 valve, V-12, 435hp motor was the most potent produced by Aston Martin at the time with a 15hp increase over the V12 Vantage. This particular 6-speed example is capable of 186mph according to the factory.
The GT chassis had a substantially updated and lowered suspension from the DB7 Vantage models. Aesthetically, subtle but aerodynamic changes not only enhanced its visual beauty but improved its performance. Compared to the Vantage it has a mesh front grille, vents in the hood, a redesigned trunk with spoiler to reduce lift, an aluminium gear lever, optional carbon fibre trim and new wheels. It also has 355 mm (14.0 in) front and 330 mm (13.0 in) rear vented disc brakes made by Brembo and a twin-plate clutch. 0-60 in under 5 seconds
