1966 Jaguar XJ13 Recreation
The XJ13 Le Mans project conceived by Jaguar’s competition and design department circa late 1963 embodied all of the experience garnered from Jaguar’s successful competition accomplishments since 1949. The Jaguar XK120 was a formidable competitor winning many events worldwide – especially in alloy form. Jaguar won Le Mans five times in the 1950s with their C and D type competition cars. The Jaguar light-weight E type proved to be successful in its class, winning many international events as well. The XJ13 was developed to continue Jaguar’s winning legacy – primarily at Le Mans in the mid-1960s - inspired by Ford’s GT-40 and Ferrari’s 250P, 330P and 330P/4. Jaguar hoped to walk away once again victorious overall at Le Mans.
A massive factory effort went into the design and construction of the XJ13 - a continuation of Malcomb Sayer’s legendary ability to create beguiling wind-cheating shapes. This fluid alloy form was supported by a power-saving light aluminum monocoque. The whole concept was powered by a Jaguar V-12 on fuel injection transmitting power through a 5-speed transaxle.
The culmination of this effort was formidable. Sadly, business conditions prevented Jaguar from entering the car at Le Mans.
The one and only prototype now resides at the factory museum in Coventry, England.
The powerful inspiration behind the original project led the Tempero Coach and Motor Company of New Zealand to construct seven prototype recreations. Extraordinary amounts of time and effort were expended in accurately remanufacturing the original factory design concept. The car pictured here, hand fabricated in aluminum on an alloy monocoque chassis, is one of those seven. It is powered by a freshly rebuilt fuel injected Jaguar V-12 Dyno tested at 318HP at the rear wheels sending power through a 5-speed transaxle as per the original. This example is in outstanding mechanical and cosmetic condition. This is an exciting motivation for anyone wishing to drive and experience an extraordinary motor racing car legend. 1967 Ferrari 275GTB4 NART Spyder
The 275GTB4 Berlinetta was the culmination of Ferrari’s Grand Touring competition experience resulting in the creation of an iconic road machine the likes of which had never been seen before. This was the first four-cam equipped road car featuring a dry sump V-12 motor fed by six 2-barrel Webers. A direct derivative of Ferrari’s racing successes.
In 1967 Luigi Chinetti, the American Ferrari importer, purchased 10 Ferrari 275GTB4s from the factory and contracted with Scaglietti of Modena, Italy to cut the tops off; creating a magnificent competition based open-sports car, subsequently known as the North American Racing Team (NART) Spyder.
One of these NART Spyders starred in the film, The Thomas Crowne Affair with Steve McQueen. Steve McQueen was so enamored with his NART Spyder co-star that he purchased one for his own pleasure. Soon after, his NART was involved in a road accident and unable to purchase a replacement, as Scaglietti ceased conversions, he settled for a 275GTB4 coupe – which was later converted into a Spyder by Richard Straman.
Road & Track magazine featured a 275GTB4 NART Spyder on its September 1967 cover – calling it “The most satisfying sports car in the world”.
With increasing demand for NART Spyders, the slack was taken up in America by Richard Straman in the 1970s. This car was converted in 1978 at the request of the car’s owner who also owned a 1962 Ferrari 250GTO. Straman was a noted specialist with much experience in converting 275GTB4s as well as the Daytona coupes into Spyder form.
In the early 1990s, Steve Moal, a well-known body fabrication shop in San Francisco, CA, perfected the conversion using templates based on a 1967 Scaglietti conversion. At the same time the car was stripped to bare metal and refinished to show quality standards by Chris Springer. The interior was re-done by Ken Nemenic of San Francisco, CA and the engine and drive-line were completely rebuilt by Patrick Otis of Berkley, CA.
The car has covered 78,000 kms, believed to be original (of which 6,500 kms came after its restoration). This NARTs history can be traced back to its original owner, a Mr. Sinatra in Italy. It was delivered to him December 20, 1967. The car has been driven in several one-thousand mile rallies, including the Copperstate 1000 (Arizona) and Going to the Sun (Montana) rallies. It remains in outstanding cosmetic and mechanical condition throughout and stands ready for its next adventure. Please inquire for price.

An extraordinary, iconic racing machine built on an alloy, monocoque chassis incorporating cutting-edge racing technology of the period, including one of the first uses of carbon-fiber.
The desirable Gulf sponsorship known for its success at LeMans (1968 and 1969) backed the Mirage project. After building only three prototypes (2 coupes and 1 spider), the full potential of the winning combination – Gulf sponsorship with John Wyer Engineering - was never fully realized. John Wyer went on to run Porsche’s 917 sports prototypes in 1970.
This car is a sensational exercise in sports prototype engineering; the shape, the feel and the sound are reminiscent of the Golden Age of Motorsport – an exciting era never to be repeated. This particular example has been meticulously restored and is ready for the show circuit and racetrack. It is eligible for the LeMans Classic, Goodwood, and any important racing circuit worldwide as well as, a significant addition to any vitally important world class collection.
Its awesome presence is heightened by adrenaline producing sound and nimble responsive road attitude.

1967 Porsche 911S
With collector car prices on course for the stratosphere as of late and Porsches and Ferraris leading the way, this is an excellent time to acquire an early Porsche 911S. Many collectors prefer the 1967 model since it was the first year for the S and features the original short wheelbase design and high revving 2.0 liter motor. This car is the highest performance variant of the first 911 in its purest early form, as it was originally conceived and engineered. Good examples of the 67 911S seem to be the hardest to find of all the early cars.
This car wears its original color of Polo red over a fresh and correct Black tex interior. According to the Certificate of Authenticity, this matching numbers example is an early production car with its build date of November 1966. The car also features the unique Webasto gas heater as fitted from the factory per COA. It has been restored both mechanically and cosmetically and has been recently serviced. This is a wonderful example of an early S- it looks, runs, drives and stops as it should. The 5 speed gearbox shifts smoothly, the engine pulls quickly to redline, and the correct fuchs wheels and correct size tire add to the nostalgic aura. The light and precise steering and nimble handling for which Porsches are known originated here. The car comes with a tool kit, jack, owners manual and Certificate of Authenticity.

1959 Alfa Giulietta Sprint
According to Centro Documentzione Alfa Romeo this Sprint was manufactured on March 21st 1959 and was sold on April 17th 1959 to Hoffman Motor Car Co, New York. From our research, this 750B series chassis is an interim car that has 101 taillights but retains the early still grill and eyebrow chrome grille trim.
In the late 1990s the car was restored in Oregon. The car was fitted with a 2.0L motor running 10:1 pistons, European cams, Webers, a custom fabricated exhaust and Marelli-Plex igniton. The car was also fitted with Boranni wire wheels and drilled brake drums.
The interior, which is thought to be largely original, has been fitted with new carpets and later Giulia Super gauges. A beautiful and rare Les Leston Wood steering wheel is stunning to look at and works well with the delicate and light steering feel of the car. The floors and rockers are believed to be all original and the car is rust free. This sprint has completed two New England 1000 tours and has recently undergone a recommissioning, which included a rebuild of the engine, transmission and brakes.
This one of the most outstanding and well sorted Alfas we have driven. Unlike some worked street motors, this 2.0L exhibits a very docile personality, firing up easily and settling into a nice, even idle. The car delivers the perfect amount of power, which is routed through a positive and precise feeling clutch and crunch-free 5 speed gearbox. Roadholding and handling are excellent.
Cosmetically, the car presents as a well preserved and high quality older restoration. Panel fit is extremely nice and even. The paint still has a nice luster, with only minimal signs of age, namely a small touchup on the right front fender and a few chips near the license plate mount. The engine compartment is tidy and attractive but not overly detailed. The headlights are covered in a yellow film that can be removed if desired. $79,000USD

2001 BMW Z8
This 2001 BMW Z8 is an outstanding original car with 21,600 original miles. It is a two owner car that was purchased by its current owner in 2002 with 3,000 miles. We put our paint meter all over the car and could find no evidence of any paintwork, which backs up what we were told.
The condition of the paint is excellent, and the car has had a full detail. The car was fitted with a clear bra in 2002.. It retains its original full tool roll, owner's manual, wind deflector headrest covers, tonneau cover and hardtop. The car is excellent to drive and is ready to be enjoyed.
